Galena Outcrops are found at around 100 meters +, so the Rebreather does come in handy. You should be relatively safe here, with no nearby Brute Sharks or Leviathans to cause you any problems. Once in the Twisty Bridges biome, you want to dive into some of the caverns, channels, and chasms that make up the biome. Just set the Detector to search for Galena and it will keep you in the right direction. Because they're basically lumps of grey rock, it can be handy to have the Detector tell you where they are.
